Robberies, violence against women and the elderly, assaults on staff: in all these cases, having a portable alarm system that is discreet and comfortable to wear to call for help and be geolocated in a timely manner can make all the difference. Having the certainty that the alarm is sent correctly is crucial, and for this there are tailor-made solutions for every need.
Simply because a dedicated anti-aggression system is more secure. At the touch of a button or the tug of a lanyard, an alarm - even an audible one - can be sent immediately, with the certainty that it will be delivered to the desired recipients.
On the contrary, the use of a smartphone for these purposes could present several critical issues. First of all, these devices are often the first targets in the event of a robbery or assault, and the panic that arises at such times may block or inhibit the victim. However, even if the victim manages to use the smartphone, the numerous steps involved in sending a request for help (unlocking the display, searching and opening the app, sending the alarm) would slow down the operation, making it undoubtedly less secure. Another factor to consider is the possible malfunctioning and app crash.
