ESA chooses Sennheiser for its conference calls | Brussels

Problem:

The offices of theESA (the European Space Agency) based in Brussels, were looking for a simple, high-performance system for the audio and video conferencingwhich allows everyone in the room to easily interact with the other participants.

Solution:

After consulting various players from the audio and video world, ESA decided to rely on Sennheiser and its device TeamConnect Wireless which, thanks to the system's easily positioned satellites, is able to make everyone in the room interact thanks to its high audio quality.

One of the strengths of TeamConnect Wireless is the complete customisationwhich guarantees that it can be moved and positioned wherever one prefers, and thus be used to its full potential in meeting rooms.

"The sound quality is excellent and also confirmed by our in-house engineers and is accompanied by the best possible look and feel."
Jérôme Béquignon, Senior Manager Programmer, ESA Brussels

La DECT connection between devices in the same environment makes the system even more flexible e easy to use by those present in the room who may from time to time have different usage needs.

La battery life of the satellites allows the different teams occupying the meeting rooms to have the devices ready for use throughout the day. Once the working day is over, the devices are housed in the elegant charging hub that allows the satellites to be recharged without the use of cables or sockets.

"If there's one thing aerospace engineers hate, it's cables! Cables, cables everywhere... we simply don't like them. The conditions at a table during a video conference where everyone opens their laptop and has to pass a microphone to each other is unbearable. And often the microphone ends up buried under sheets of paper, making everything more difficult."
Jérôme Béquignon, Senior Manager Programmer, ESA Brussels

And it is precisely the insiders who have said the main feature of TeamConnect is that satellites do not end up hidden and buried under paper and have no cables, which does not turn a conference call a continuous passing of microphones from hand to hand, thus making work smoother and more pleasant.
